Salazar Cigars Customer Reviews Subject :: revolucion great cigar!! would not recomend for beginner!! smoked in my truck on a long ride in the country listening to hector lavoe. cut with a punch and cut perfectly. toasted the foot and it revealed its thick chocolate overtones. first draw was easy and spicy. first 1/3 of the cigar is a little spicy. then it mellows out to a NICE full body smoke with small chocolate overtones and cedar tannins. would go great with cuban coffe or a cafe con leche with a little cognac. this stick is for the real afficianotoes!!! i give it a 8.5 and im a rough critic. Subject :: after 2 weeks just fired one up after two weeks in humi. nice first draw. smooth yet spicy.im typing this as i smoke this so it mite take me an hour to do this so hold on--- here we go! second draw is smooth with some burnt chocolate overtones while still having a little spice. these things really mellow out the longer you leave em in the humidor.wrapper is smooth no jagged edges, well made. has a nice sheen to it that you would expect from a good cigar.im at 1in of ash still burning perfectly. it is at this point the complexity of this stick starts to show itself. cigar has a perfect 1/16 black line with a milticolored black--white ash that holds on perfectly. its hard to overheat this booger!with hints of leather, oak, spice, and some kind of chocolatey toast this is better than the 1926 padron anneversery i had last night!and for a hell of alot less $$$$. as this wonderful experiance conlcludes to a 1/2 in piece of a dream a realize my fingers are burning so i lay it down and enjoy the boquet of aromas with nothing left to describe this cigar but QUE RICO!!!! When I received these cigars, I let them mellow in my humidor for two weeks and sparked one up on the porch and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cigar was surrounded by copious amounts of smoke and a pleasant fragrance commented on by my neighbor to whom I immediately through down a cigar to him (the mooch). There was light spice, a short finish, which is my personal preference, and a consistently comforting taste through out the smoke. It did exactly what I wanted it to do and that is help me to relax.
