Tony Alvarez is a Cuban Master cigar maker. Have one of his cigars and you will immediately recognize that he is an expert. He grew tobacco and hand rolled perfect cigars in Cuba for Monte Cristo, Romeo y Julieta and Cohiba. He then fled Cuba and while in Miami, Florida rolled for Don Tito, La Gloria Cubana and eventually started CAONAO cigars. He sold his interest in that cigar company and went to Esteli, Nicaragua to open his own small factory. His cigars are all totally made by hand, and many he makes himself. Tony only uses the best wrappers, binders and fillers. As in the traditional Cuban cigar factory, cigars do not leave his factory until he personally inspects them. They are all top-shelf cigars. That is the only way that Tony knows how to make them.
MILD to MEDIUM BODIED. It starts with a mild and slightly spicy taste. The taste transforms and kicks up a notch with nice leathery and earthy notes, and just enough cedar, licorice and baking spices to complement the other tastes. Ordered 2 bundles of this cigar while on sale. Received order today and tried one. WHAT A PLEASANT SUPPRISE! Very mild with an easy draw and an even burn down to a finger burning “nub”. Nice inch plus white ash. Flavor and mildness were constant throughout the whole burn. I hope the rest of the 2 bundles are just as satisfying

Was very surprised with the easy draw, even burn down to a finger burning \"Nub\" and a 2 inch white ash (looked like the ash was glued to the cigar).
